Hi, I am a UX designer with experience as a teacher/tutor.
I have always enjoyed sharing my passion and expertise in subjects I love such as; French.
At the end of 2019 I began to look into UX and I decided to change my career. I complete a course in UX design whilst working full time.
In 2020, during the pandemic, as a teacher the way I taught had to change completely. I began to realise through research, feedback from my students with the different platforms improved my student's learning improved along with my enjoyment teaching online. Unconsciously, I have been using iterative design principles to supplement my students who are learning online. I found that the 'scaffolding' technique I use for teacher is parallel to iterative design principles. Teaching much like design is a product that never finishes! You always have to iterate lessons, much like having to iterate designs.
My enthusiasm about creating solutions that make tasks for people appealing and easier to do continues as I translate into the field of UX.
